Our Mission

As One helps Christian schools, universities and organizations hire and retain outstanding and diverse faculty and staff who uphold the biblical integrity of the institution’s mission.

OUR BELIEFS

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Statement of Faith:
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

*This statement of faith is adopted by the National Association of Evangelicals

On sexuality and gender:
  • We affirm that god has designed marriage to be a covenantal, sexual, procreative, lifelong union of one man and one woman, as husband and wife, and is meant to signify the covenant love between Christ and his bride the church.

  • We affirm that it is sinful to approve of homosexual immorality or transgenderism and that such approval constitutes an essential departure from Christian faithfulness and witness.

These affirmations are excerpted from the Nashville Statement authored by the Council of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.

OUR LOGO

The fingerprint reminds us that we share the same humanity, because we have them, but we are each different, because no two are alike. In the same way, we have all been created in God's image, yet each of us is a unique expression of that image. The number one reminds us that Jesus calls us to be unified, just as He and the Father are one.
